How To Remove Administrator User Account In Windows 10
This shouldn't be hard to gear up. Windows is not supposed to automatically login to anything, so can you do this for me to ensure the registry is set as such?
- First, go to the Run box (press WindowsLogo + R) and run the command NETPLWIZ.
- Make sure the checkbox is turned on, then click Utilise.
If it is already on, turn information technology off and dorsum on, then click Apply. This is in case the registry setting is not reflecting the actual country.

Thank you for the answer. Now it is everything listed in my first message PLUS i have to enter the password :)
In "users for this calculator" i have ii: myself and that ambassador which is unable to be deleted.

Small steps. Tin can you check: is this in addition to the normal built-in administrator account (the 1 with the real username of "administrator")?
To bank check, type internet user at the command prompt. You'll notice that this will show accounts that the NETPLWIZ dialog does not. For example, my bodily Administrator account is disabled (the default), then information technology doesn't show (and it cannot be deleted, but you tin can disable it to keep it from being bachelor or shown anywhere). (The extra "localadmin" business relationship I take is the admin business relationship I use day-to-day, it's just a normal user account for me).
Anyhow, if the ane that yous want to remove is "the one true admin", so I would only disable it. If it's not, yous can type internet user username /delete to remove the account. Note that you'll need to run Cmd prompt as admin, so right-click Start and cull Command Prompt Admin.
PS. Brand double-sure you take a remaining admin account. If yous don't, and yous delete ane or disable it, the simply way to fix it is to erase your bulldoze. Okay, the black thing lists "my regular business relationship" equally an administrator so "default business relationship" as guest.
The white affair says Administrator account is the built-in ambassador business relationship.
I tried to disable it simply didn't succeed. Past that I hateful I was however logged in to that account when starting the computer only to discover out that information technology was blocked.
Everything worked fine earlier Windows 10.

I gave upwards trying to delete it. Something is wrong. I have aforementioned consequence Simply worse. I tin can relieve any files to Documents because EVERYTHING is now READ Only and it wont let me change information technology! Can relieve ONLY to Desk Summit.

Merely downloaded 10. When I open up a Word file or an Excel file and effort to relieve it I get this
When I go into the File Save as in both Discussion and Excel etc information technology says ALL files are READ ONLY.
This is a mess. I tin't save whatsoever file I have made to save any file to Documents at all. Have to save to desk-bound top. MESS!
Also when I try to open Outlook (even though I don't use it that much) I get this mistake message.
God I wish I had Windows vii dorsum. It was perfect!

I accept the same problem moving from eight.1 to 10! Insane. Can't save any work, tells me I'm not authorized.. Can't open whatsoever existing files on the hard drive, just on USB backup. Saves to who knows?
Been on concur for over 3 hours (gave up subsequently 1.5 hrs and tried again subsequently)!!! Why can't they but fix this problem?
They now want me to upgrade my laptop running 7!

we have a general computer in the house. No ane owns but everyone. With Windows 7 it was not a problem.
When upgraded to Windows 10 - it did not request a business relationship or password. Information technology was using the same one.
Then we decided to apply Netflix app - when asked for an account and password, I gave my own account and password from my personal estimator. Well information technology inverse the administrator to my account.
Side by side - no one could apply the calculator without my login. I have created a business relationship and prepare as administrator but it does non work. This account cannot download app, cannot encounter the external storage. Cannot practice anything.
I am going to reinstall Windows 10 equally clean installation. This is my next frustration.

I accept almost all these faults (except with Outlook till at present). So I decided to get back to Windows 7 only I can't! I have the answer:
Y'all are created one account (Administrator). Get to Setting>Accounts>Other users to remove these accounts then try again.
I used both advices of Shawn: netplwiz control and cyberspace user to cheque but no Administrator business relationship besides normal built-in my account was constitute.
I went to Setting>Accounts but there I found simply my account as Administrator and ASP.NET car business relationship amid Other Users.
Now I tin't piece of work with Windows x and can't become back to Windows 7. Any help will be appreciated.

I call back I have to add that i fourth dimension I created Administrator account with command internet user administrator /active:yes but then I removed it with command net user administrator /agile:no. Likewise after the calculator restart there is no admin business relationship seen to choose from. In that location is only i and only my user account.
